PTFE Fabric is chemically inert and resistant to temperatures ranging from -100 degrees Fahrenheit to +450 degrees Fahrenheit (-73 degrees Celsius to +232 degrees Celsius). Because this material has a low surface free energy, the surface it forms is easily cleaned by precipitation. PTFE is also totally resistant to the deteriorating effects of UV light. There are now PTFE fibreglass parking shade structures worldwide, and the national standards and guidelines of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Australia, Japan, and Germany have approved them. The American Society for Testing and Materials developed these standards and guidelines.
